Comme des Garçons — Fit & Measurements

Size Guide Every silhouette is cut true-to-pattern rather than true-to-body. Use your own body measurements against the tables below, not the size on your current label, to find your Comme des Garçons fit.

Outerwear — Coats, Jackets, Blazers

Unisex alpha sizing · allow for layering beneath

Outerwear is cut with room for a mid-layer. If you plan to wear it over knitwear or tailoring, take your chest and waist measurements as usual and refer to the table below — sizing follows the same body-measurement logic as Tops.

Body measurements — cropped and boxy silhouettes are noted individually on each product page.

Measure foot length in the evening, when feet are at their largest

Stand on a sheet of paper with your full weight on the foot. Mark the tip of the longest toe and the back of the heel, then measure the straight-line distance between the two marks. Compare that figure to Foot Length below.

Between two sizes?
For tailored and slim-cut pieces, size up for a more relaxed fit through the body. For pieces already described as oversized, wide or drop-shoulder on the product page, sizing down will bring the silhouette closer to standard proportions.
How CDG sizing differs from standard EU sizing
Comme des Garçons patterns are cut on a Japanese base block, so garments generally sit closer to the body through the shoulder and sleeve than an equivalent EU size from a European label. Use the body-measurement tables above rather than your usual label size.
Exchanges and returns for sizing
If a garment doesn't fit as expected once it arrives, it can be exchanged for a different size within the return window stated in the order confirmation, provided tags remain attached and the item is unworn.

Measurements are body measurements in centimetres unless converted to inches above, and are provided as a fit reference only. Small variations (1–2cm) can occur between production runs. If you are between two sizes on a specific garment, refer to that product's individual measurement details.
